The Vegas heat shimmered off the desert asphalt like a mirage. The BangBus—a nondescript white van with blacked-out windows—sat idling in the parking lot of a defunct truck stop. Inside, the crew was restless.
“Out,” Kelsi said, jerking a thumb. “All of you.”
“She’s late,” muttered Mike, the cameraman, wiping sweat from his brow.
Kelsi glanced in the rearview mirror, a slow smile curling her lips. “Don’t worry, boys. I’ll be gentle. For the first five minutes.”

Kelsi stepped inside the BangBus, planted her heels, and held up the tablet. On screen was a live feed of the van’s own exterior camera. “See that limo? Inside is a producer from a major network. He’s offering me my own spin-off. But first… I get to reverse the script.”
“It is now.” Kelsi revved the engine and pulled out of the lot, leaving the limo behind. “First stop: that abandoned motel on the 95. I hear the lighting is great at sunset.”
Kelsi’s Reverse, Pt. 3: The Driver’s Seat
The driver, a lanky guy named Rico, just tapped the steering wheel. “She said she’s bringing the twist today. Not us.”
As the BangBus sped toward the desert horizon, the roles had never been clearer. Kelsi Monroe wasn’t just reversing the scene—she was rewriting the entire road map. And for the first time, the crew didn’t know who would be begging to get off at the next stop.
A knock on the side door made everyone jump. The door slid open to reveal Kelsi Monroe. But she wasn’t in the usual “hailing a ride” outfit. Today, she wore aviator sunglasses, a black blazer over a sports bra, and held a tablet. Behind her, a stretch limo idled.
Mike nervously raised his camera. “So… we’re the talent?”
