Birddog 4k Quad Firmware Apr 2026

Alright team, I’ve spent the last three months deploying eight BirdDog 4K Quads across three different venues. I’ve run into almost every firmware quirk possible. With the shift from NDI 4 to NDI 5, and now the slow rollout of NDI 6 HDR, I wanted to consolidate what I’ve learned about the —specifically the v2.9.x branch and what to expect moving forward.
