Gordon Ramsay: (sarcastically) "Oh, I don't know, maybe it's because your kitchen looks like a disaster zone. (spots a cockroach scurrying across the counter) What the...?! You've got pests in here! How can you expect to run a clean kitchen with these conditions?"
(After a few days of intense kitchen renovations and staff training, El Patio de Tapas reopens.)
(Fade to black.)
Carlos García: "We think so, chef. We source our ingredients from local suppliers."
Gordon Ramsay: (skeptical) "Local suppliers? I think you need to take a closer look at your supply chain. (tastes another dish) This paella is a crime. It's overcooked, underseasoned...this is an insult to the people of Valencia."
Gordon Ramsay (voiceover): "Welcome to Valencia, a city known for its stunning architecture, beautiful beaches, and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. But in the heart of the old town, there's a restaurant that's struggling to stay afloat. El Patio de Tapas, a family-owned business, has been serving traditional Spanish dishes for over 20 years. But despite its prime location, the restaurant is on the brink of collapse. Owner Carlos García is at his wit's end, and that's where I come in." Gordon Ramsay: "Carlos, what's going on here
Gordon Ramsay: (to the kitchen staff) "Listen up, because I'm only going to say this once. You lot are not just cooks, you're representatives of this restaurant. You need to take pride in what you're doing. (points to a cook) You, get back in there and start again with a clean slate. And you, (points to another cook) for God's sake, chop those onions properly!"
Carlos García: "I don't know, chef. We've tried everything. We're serving the same dishes we've always served. I just don't understand why people aren't coming back."
Gordon Ramsay: (proudly) "Welcome to the new and improved El Patio de Tapas! Carlos, I think you've got a winner here. The menu's been streamlined, the kitchen's spotless, and the staff's been trained. Let's see if we can get this place back on track." (Gordon Ramsay confronts the kitchen staff and implements
