When Wikus clumsily opened the vial, the fluid sprayed onto his face. Within hours, Wikus’s fingernails fell off. His skin darkened. One of his eyes mutated into a bright yellow alien eye. He was becoming a Prawn. District 9 Sub Indo

But during a house raid, Wikus stumbled upon a hidden shack belonging to a Prawn named and his son, C.J. . Inside was a small vial of black fluid—a mysterious canister of alien fuel.

Enter (played by Sharlto Copley). A bumbling, awkward field operative, Wikus was tasked with serving eviction notices. His mission: Force the Prawns to sign relocation papers to District 10 , a new camp 200 kilometers away.

Christopher revealed the truth: The black fluid was fuel for a hidden command module buried under District 9. That module could activate the mothership. If activated, it would call for help—and save all the Prawns. "Dia menunggu

Wikus agreed. For the first time, he saw the Prawns not as pests—but as prisoners. The plan was simple: Reach the command module. Extract the remaining fluid from Wikus’s body. Launch the mothership. Tapi suatu hari, ia akan datang

And in a junkyard, a single, fully transformed Prawn sat alone. Using scrap metal, he folded a small flower—the same kind his human wife once loved. He looked up at the sky.
