Script: --- Elemental Dungeons

That’s not the script. The mission brief said the Floor Guardian only wakes on the seventh echo.

[A drip of water echoes. Then another. A third. A fourth, louder, like a slammed door.]

[Outside the dungeon, dawn is breaking—a pale, dying sun. Kael holds the heartstone. It pulses like a real heart.]

That sun’s got a year left. Tops.

Elemental Lock. We each stand on a pedestal. Channel your opposite.

[Kael raises his good hand. A single, thin needle of blue-white fire—the opposite of his nature, pure cold flame. Jin sees it and understands. She stops trying to blast water and starts pulling humidity from the air, forming a lens of ice.]

Scripts are for tourists. We’re treasure hunters. Look. --- Elemental Dungeons Script

[The screen is pitch black. A single ember flickers to life in Kael’s good hand. It illuminates his scarred face.]

Someone crosses it out with a single, burning finger and writes: “Version 10.0 – No Rules.”

No. We write a new script.

I left my pride, too. I’m here to reclaim it.

We’re not reading from yours anymore.

You want us to cast until we pass out?

[The serpent doesn’t attack. It speaks. Its voice is four voices layered badly.]

Count the echoes. If you hear three, don’t move. If you hear four… run.
