Hunter X Hunter Episode — 34

“Say you lose, or I’ll cut off your arm.”

Hanzo hesitates. He realizes that killing Gon won’t make him surrender. And worse, if he kills Gon, he risks disqualification — and for what? A hollow victory against a child who won’t break?

“I give up.”

The episode ends with Netero looking at the remaining names on his list: Gon, Leorio, Kurapika, Hanzo, Hisoka, Illumi… and one slot left. He smiles cryptically. Hunter X Hunter Episode 34

Leorio screams, “WHAT?!” Killua’s eyes widen. Hisoka smiles faintly. Illumi remains expressionless.

Hanzo replies, “The rule is that the match ends when someone admits defeat. I’m admitting defeat. This kid… he’s not strong. But his spirit is unbreakable. I could kill him, but that wouldn’t make him lose. And I didn’t come here to murder a child. He deserves to pass more than I do.”

Leorio shouts from the sidelines: “Gon, you idiot! Just give up! You can’t win!” Killua says nothing, his fists clenched, watching intently. “Say you lose, or I’ll cut off your arm

The moment Killua steps into the ring with “Gittarackur,” he freezes. His face goes pale. His body trembles. Illumi removes his disguise of needles and padding, revealing his true form: long black hair, empty dark eyes, and a cold aura that makes Killua’s knees buckle.

Cut to Killua walking alone through a dark forest path, heading back to the Zoldyck estate. His eyes are empty. Behind him, Illumi follows silently.

Illumi smiles. “You’re not a failure, Killua. You just forgot who you are.” A hollow victory against a child who won’t break

Illumi speaks softly: “Killua. You’ve been playing with friends long enough. It’s time to come home.”

Netero laughs heartily and declares Gon the winner by surrender. Gon, barely standing, looks confused but smiles weakly.
