Ifast22.exe Access

ifast22.exe is a persistent browser hijacker/adware dropper that masquerades as a legitimate helper utility. It is typically bundled with freeware or distributed via fake software updates. While not ransomware or a banking trojan, it degrades browser performance, violates user privacy by tracking searches, and can be a vector for more dangerous payloads via its update mechanism.

Block domains *.ifast[.]net , *.ifast[.]biz at the network perimeter. Apply application whitelisting to prevent execution from %APPDATA% . End users should avoid "optimizer" or "PC cleaner" software from untrusted sources. This write-up is based on aggregated threat intelligence. Actual samples may vary. Always analyze in an isolated environment. ifast22.exe
