This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with a Japanese man who provides massages to American wives. The participant, referred to as "Taro," has been practicing massage therapy for over a decade and has worked with numerous clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. The interviews were conducted in a comfortable and quiet setting, allowing Taro to share his experiences and insights openly.
