“The software. A robot’s body is just a shell. You have to download the mind.” She pulled up a chair. “First, you don’t just search ‘Joysro Mbot download’ and click the first shiny button. That’s how you get viruses.”

“Its what?” Leo sighed.
Mia smiled. “Because downloading is the first real test. It teaches you patience. It teaches you to check file names and not trust pop-ups. And it teaches you where your computer saves things.” She pointed. “See that? You just saved it to ‘Downloads’ – a black hole. Move it to your ‘Robotics’ folder. That’s the useful habit.”
The download bar filled slowly. Leo fidgeted. “Why is this the ‘useful’ part? It’s just waiting.” When the install finished, they plugged in the USB cable
