They clink mugs. Rory walks in, yawns, and points at the hourglass.
Lorelai is exhausted. The churros are picked up. The quinceañera is saved. Rory’s article is printed. They sit at the kitchen table with leftover takeout.
Luke pours Lorelai’s coffee before the sand runs out. Fade to black
But the next morning, she sits down with the hourglass again. Instead of fighting Taylor’s notes, she asks him one calm question: "What’s the one thing you want people to remember?"
