Has anyone gotten MK8D running well on PC via emulation recently? I’ve got a decent rig (RTX 3060, i5-12400F, 16GB RAM). I tried Ryujinx a while back, but there were shader stutters and occasional crashes online. Is Yuzu (or its forks) better now? mario kart 8 deluxe on pc reddit
If you want online play, you’ll need a real Switch and a capture card – emu online is barren or full of cheaters. LAN mode via Ryujinx LDN works if you have friends also on emu. Thanks in advance. (u/EmuTechWiz, 342 points): Ryujinx is dead (RIP), but the last builds still work fine. For MK8D, use the “Vulkan” backend and enable “Texture Recompression” to fix memory leaks. Steal the shader cache from someone who’s played through all tracks – that’s the only way to avoid stutters.
