Early Life & Education Renato Longato grew up in the Lombardy region, a cultural hub that exposed him early to Italy’s rich literary and artistic traditions. He earned a laurea (M.A.) in Modern Literature from the University of Milan, where his thesis focused on post‑war Italian narrative and the evolution of the romanzo (novel) in the 20th century.
