Seinfeld - - Season 2eps12

This episode is peak early Seinfeld awkwardness. The George storyline is pure anxiety comedy – he means well, but every step makes things worse. Jerry’s B-plot (slow talker) is simple but hilarious. And Elaine’s subplot? A random guy who keeps getting mistaken for someone famous, but they never say who.

Jerry dates a woman (played by Veanne Cox) who speaks extremely slowly, with long, dramatic pauses. He can’t finish her sentences or rush her, leading to pure conversational torture.

This is the first episode where a small, innocent action (complaining about coffee) snowballs into a complete disaster – a formula the show would perfect.
