A Case Study in Digital Stardom, Personal Branding, and Cross-Platform Media Author: Institute for Digital Culture & Media Economics Date: April 2026 Abstract The convergence of lifestyle content and entertainment has given rise to a new class of micro-celebrities who operate across social media, streaming, and branded partnerships. This paper examines the persona and professional ecosystem of Karina Oxi , a prominent creator within the Showstars network—a hybrid platform that curates talent for lifestyle-oriented entertainment. Through qualitative content analysis of her digital footprint, interviews with industry collaborators, and engagement metrics, we explore how Karina Oxi constructs authenticity while performing aspirational leisure. Key findings reveal that her success stems from three pillars: (1) hyper-curated visual aesthetics, (2) strategic vulnerability in storytelling, and (3) seamless integration of sponsored content into daily routines. The paper concludes with implications for the future of lifestyle entertainment as a dominant genre in the creator economy.
