The kind of soul who would watch from across the room before deciding if today was a “cuddle day” or a “watch-from-the-windowsill day.” But patience— real patience—has a way of unlocking hearts. By week three, something shifted. Skye-Blu started meeting me at the door. Not with wild jumps (we’re not quite there yet), but with a slow tail wag… a head tilt… the softest chirp-meow/whuff (circle one, friends). That’s when I realized: Skye-Blu wasn’t just tolerating me anymore. They were choosing me.
