Revisiting CD Projekt Red’s sophomore effort feels like finding a lost classic. While Wild Hunt is a sprawling open-world epic, Assassins of Kings is a tight, claustrophobic political thriller. And it’s brutal.

Only directors by whom I've seen at least two feature-length films are included. The bracketed count doesn't include segments of omnibus films, though those are listed. It was meant to be temporary, but I'm too used to it now to switch back.
